Description des services: Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (TRS) use leisure and recreation to provide opportunities for children and youth to develop life-long skills and knowledge to enhance their quality of life. Opportunities to enhance a child / youth’s physical, social, cognitive and emotional development, are provided both in our community and at the Centre. Some benefits may include:

  • Strengthen peer interaction skills
  • Improve quality of life



Frais: May apply for some programs. Fee reductions possible.
Procédé et formulaires: Complete a Request for Service Form and mail or fax it to the Centre. A family member or Pathways clinical staff can complete the form. Wait times vary for an initial assessment to be conducted.
Admissibilité / population desservie: Children and youth with cognitive, developmental or physical disabilities, living within Sarnia-Lambton. Ages: 3-18 (up to 21 if attending high school)
Langues: English ; French
Notes linguistiques: Interpreter services available upon request. Some services available in French.
